What was your first video game console?

Over the years, you've probably owned a variety of video game consoles, and you had to start somewhere. With that, I'd like to ask you: What was your first video game console? No matter what it was, be sure to make a reply.

My first video game console was the Nintendo 64. There were a lot of great games for it, including Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and of course, Super Smash Bros., and I continued to play it well into the 2000s.

Gamecube. However, I bought it during the end of its lifespan, so I've been going back recently and finding gems in the system's library. First game I had for it? Super Smash Bros Melee.

Well, to be honest, I never really got into console gaming until the Wii came out. So, I guess my first console was te Wii. I did have a GameCube. But it was not really mine. It elonged to my cousin, who happened to live with us back in the day.

But if you consider handhelds, my answer would be the GameBoy Advanced SP. I remember playing a lot of Mario. xD

The good ol' 64. Though a child of the Gamecube era, I got my hands on my first console when a friend brought an N64 when I was sick. He had all (or almost all) the classics, Goldeneye 007, Diddy Kong racing, SM64... fun times. Of course, I had to expand the collection when I went to a yardsale and found a lady selling all her husband's games - Oot, Majora's Mask, MK64, and several others. I scored them all for five bucks - and she admitted her husband would most decidedly not be happy when he found out, haha. I felt no remorse.

And so an addiction was born.
