At today's Nintendo Direct conference, there was some news about the next Super Smash Bros. games! The news was the announcement of a new character - Rosalina. She uses her Luma to attack, along with having a Launch Star attack. This is the first time a character new to the series has been announced for the games since this year's E3 in June.

Well, the Mario cast didn't need any further rounded out, but at least it's less of a sausage fest now.

She wouldn't be my first pick of new characters, but I think this is a pretty cool inclusion.
