Sakurai on making new characters for the next Smash games

At a recent developers conference in Japan, Sakurai delivered a speech about the history of video games. While it wasn't a big mention, he did manage to say something about the next Smash games, saying that it's fun making new skills for new characters. That, of course, means we'll be seeing some new challengers for the next Smash games. Who will they be, though? We'll know in the future, but for now, it's fun to speculate (by the way, nothing has been posted in the speculations forums, so if you have any speculations you want to post, take them there).

That Sakurai is such a tease. He can't even just drop one little hint for a new fighter? I guess time will tell.
