Nintendo Force to replace Nintendo Power

Just a few months ago, Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Power magazine would be discontinued. Well, it seems that a new magazine, called Nintendo Force, is going to take its place and continue where Nintendo Power left off. The Nintendo Force team promises to bring the same selection of content that Nintendo Power has brought for many years.



Nintendo Force magazine is expected to launch on Januery and will donate 100% of its earnings, for the first issue, to charity.

Oh, yeah. Matthew Taranto (the guy who draws Brawl in the Family) is going to be doing art design and perhaps comics for Nintendo Force. Oh, and Lucas M. Thomas from IGN is going to be on staff as well, along with a bunch of other guys from various websites. I'm pretty hyped.

That's pretty nice that the fans will carry on the magazine thing. I'm guessing it's an online magazine?

Nope. It's a real, physical magazine that you pay for and get in the mail. Pretty awesome, if you ask me.
