Rumor: Diddy Kong Racing sequel coming?

Here's a pretty interesting rumor - is a sequel to the Nintendo 64 game Diddy Kong Racing coming for the Wii U? According to this rumor, it's being made by Monster Games, and there's going to be an announcement next year. As for the game itself, it's been in development since 2011, Dillon from Dillon's Rolling Western will be a character, and only 3 Donkey Kong characters will be in the game. This one comes from 4chan, so I'd take it with a grain of salt, but you never know. It's a pretty interesting rumor, anyway.

Yeah I saw this not too long ago, it would be great if this is real. I tend to enjoy games where they offer various forms of vehicle transportation.

I'd like to see a sequel/remake. It was a pretty solid game, much more different than Mario Kart 64 than you would've expected.
