Rumor: New Pokemon type coming to Pokemon X and Y?

A new Pokemon type may be coming for the first time since Gold and Silver. According to a recent rumor, a new "Fairy" type may be coming to Pokemon X and Y. This rumor says that new Pokemon Sylveon and Xerneas will be Fairy type, along with existing Pokemon Clefairy and Togetic. It sounds kind of interesting, but maybe a Light type would be better, should this end up being true. What do you think of the idea of this?

I wouldn't mind a new type. As long as it isn't as annoying as Blissey.

I'm quite excited to see a new type actually. I just hope this will be the only time they'll do that. If they are going to add more after this, it will just drain away the life of the metagame. They might as well get more new Fairy types if this rumor is true. Half of the Fairy breeding type should be part Fairy.
