You don't need a capture device; we're just doing this on the honor system. 'Cause, you know, were pretty chill and all.
However, on that topic, does anybody own a decent capture device? Just curious.

It is however possible to save the replays of certain things and share those.
Nope, I don't have one at all.

All replays do is record the button presses for your match. It then replays the match again on the game itself. So, unless you can get a Wii emulator, no, you cannot record the replays without a capture device.

All righty! Sorry for the longer wait...got sick with a bug yesterday that kept me bed-ridden all day.
Anyways, to make this short and sweet, halibabica won immunity with a time of 11.43 sec. with Mr. Game and Watch.
This week's challenge is another solo one, but it isn't a stadium challenge. This time, it is Classic mode. Most points wins. See y'all next Wednesday.

Wowzers, 11.43 seconds?! I had 12.63 seconds with Link and I thought that was unbeatable. I'd love to know how you did it. Well, great job Hali, you deserve it! But your other team mates will suffer harder now...
I think Classic Mode is an interesting choice, since you don't get a certain difficulty, you can try it as difficult as possible.

Re: Survivor: Smash World Edition
Here's some grainy MS Paint evidence of my exploits:
1. Jumped through gap in wall and fish bowl'd the target.
2. Key'd these 2 while descending.
3. Fire rescue'd up through these two.
4. Turtle'd.
5. This one was luck. I flipped a sausage at it.
6. Ran to the right of the target before Fire Rescuing both of them.
7. Headbutt charge for the victory.
I looked up world record videos afterward, and about the only thing they did differently was to fish bowl target 7 (before 4 & 5 in this picture) from beneath the floor instead.
Olimar's record is less than 4 seconds. o_o

Actually, I think I beat you as well! And I thought I'd end up towards the back like last time. Can we see all of the times, Jazz?

Thanks. Do we have to pick someone to sit this challenge out?

Yeah, failed to mention that last night. Unless we do a combined score, then do the average and whichever team has the higher average.

Making sure everyone knows that Wednesday is coming up! Remember, Classic Mode, highest combined average score wins!

Man, this is so reminding why I stopped playing this game alone. CPUs are downright infuriating. They have no sense of self preservation, are highly unpredictable, and if you have any measure of success against them, I swear the game curves the difficulty against you. >_<

Lol. I agree. I personally have no problems with CPUs. They are frustrating, yes. But once you know their weakness... It gets really easy... Unfortunately, their weakness has changed way to many times.... I suggest just taking it slowly. You will realize how predictable they really are. That is one weakness that never changes.

Well...I didn't think this would be a problem. I guess I should stay clear of this. XD
I just didn't wanna keep resorting to the Stadium stuff.

You can always resort to multiplayer matches. It has some challenges, but it is there.
Re: Survivor: Smash World Edition
The worst part are the allied team battles. Two level 8 (I guess) CPU's against you and an ally which is about level 4. I mean, are you kidding me?! You're almost guaranteed to lose a life in those stages.

Okay. Note to self: don't do Classic Mode for Season 2 (if it's high in demand).

Sometimes the lower level computers are the worse ones for me. Their fighting methods make no sense whatsoever, so they tend to catch you off-guard. It's like they're always either too stupid or too smart!

I'd prefer we didn't do online multiplayer. I have a download limit, university, time-zones, and a cross-continental lag situation to deal with. I actually didn't mind this challenge, but oh well.

Hmm! I personally had no no trouble with them. I did struggle at the level before facing master hand: Giant Mario, Regular Lucario, and Snake. They were a bit of a challenge.
I don't know if it was just my CPUs bu during the team matches, the opposing team just randomly killed themselves. Seriously, I just stood there and watched them destroy themselves.... Lol
But I hope we can pull this round off....
Re: Survivor: Smash World Edition
This challenge isn't so bad, but leaving the difficulty level open was a mistake, I think. You get a huge point bonus for beating it on the highest difficulty, but that also has the most frustration involved. Specifying a lower difficulty would've worked out better, I think.
