Happy new year everybody. 2013, by the time you see this post, has come to an end. It was, indeed an interesting year, filled with bumps and turns. But despite these challenges, many of us still managed to come this far. Here's to a new, and better, year.

What are some of your most or least favorite memories from 2013?

Happy New Year, everyone! It's already 2014 where I live, so this is my first post of the year. My favorite memory is playing Pokemon Y. It was a very fun game, with great new Pokemon, great new features, and the addition of a full 3D overworld. Non-video game wise, it was joining the Simple English Wikipedia. I've done a lot of great things there such as creating new articles.

Smash World Community had a great year in its first full year. We had some great discussions, as well as the addition of the Member-created Games forum. We played some great games there. My favorite was Wheel of Fortune, particularly because it was the most successful game. It's too bad there wasn't a lot of interest for a 5th game. I would have loved to play one (maybe we can do another one this year?).

Well, heck, I'm on the West Coast, so we just toasted the New Year half an hour ago.

2013 was....a bit dull, to be honest, at least when it came to new games.  I've been having quite a bit of fun expanding my NES, Genesis, and 360 collection, however, and I look forward to continue to buy both new and used games in the future.

In terms of games this year that I bought (not necessarily new), I'd have to say my favorite is Sonic Unleashed.  The amount of fun I've had with that game topped most other games I bought this year, both with the regular Sonic parts and the werehog portions.  I would go so far as to say that it has edged its way into my top three favorite games of all time, and is easily my favorite Sonic game by quite a bit.  Go try it if you like platformers at all.

Happy New Year to you all!
