What is SmashWorldCommunity?

Hello all newcomers! Welcome to SmashWorldCommunity Forums. Since you are here, I am assuming that this is your first time visiting our community, right? Well, if that is the case, allow me to give you a brief summary of our community.

What is SmashWorldCommunity?
SmashWorldCommunity is a video gaming community that mainly focuses on Super Smash Bros and other Nintendo franchises. We are a bunch of video game enthusiasts who like to talk about video game news and speculation, take parts in various discussions regarding games, and take part in friendly and competitive multiplayer matches.

What is the origin of the community?
From mid 2008 through mid 2012, The members of SmashWorldCommunity made up the dedicated stage building community in Super Smash Bros. World at IGN. Within those four years, many stages were shared, and even entered in stage related events. But ever since IGN decided to close Super Smash Bros. World, the members migrated to try and keep the community, now known as SmashWorldCommunity, alive.

What can I expect from the community?
We originally specialized in building, sharing, and reviewing custom stages in Super Smash Bros Brawl. But over time, the community has expanded and now offers a wider variety of events for our members to participate in. Some of these include, but don't limit to, Stage Contests, Snapshot Captions, and so much more.

How active is SmashWorldCommunity?
Activity in SmashWorldCommunity varies from time to time. Sometimes it is very active, other times it is very quiet.

How do I join SmashWorldCommunity?
Anyone can join SmashWorldCommunity at will. The only thing we expect of our members is that they respect one another and avoid any inappropriate behavior. For more information, please visit our Rules and Regulations thread.

Joining the community is simple. To begin, simply click on the "Register" button below or on the toolbar. From there, fill out the form and then follow the instructions onscreen (We highly recommend you read the terms carefully). Once you have completed registration, you are now a registered member at Smash WorldCommunity.
