Deal or No Deal (ZeldaFan996's second game - End)
This forum has been dormant for the past 2 months. Well, I'm going to start it back up with this game:
Deal or No Deal
From the creator of the popular forum game "Lugia's Wheel of Fortune" comes another forum game based off of a popular television game show. This time around, it's Deal or No Deal, the popular game of money, boxes, and banker offers. You might have seen this show before, but if you've never seen it before, you'll want to read the Gameplay section below.
Gameplay
22 boxes holding 22 amounts of money are the basis of the game. The amounts are as follows:
$.01
$1
$5
$10
$50
$100
$200
$300
$400
$500
$750
$1,000
$3,000
$5,000
$10,000
$15,000
CAR
$35,000
$50,000
$75,000
$100,000
$250,000
To start, you select a box (specifically, a number between 1 and 22). This box is yours throughout the game. After selecting a box, you open up 5 boxes other than your own, again selecting numbers between 1 and 22. You can either select them one at a time or all at once. The amount in each box is revealed, and that amount is taken out of play.
After selecting 5 boxes, the banker makes you an offer. You can either take the offer and end the game (saying "Deal") or refuse it and continue selecting boxes (saying "No deal"). After this, there are 5 more rounds, and in these rounds, you select 3 boxes each. The process of opening boxes and banker offers continues until you either take an offer or get down to two boxes.
If the game gets down to two boxes (your box and one other box), you can either keep your box, or swap it with the other box. Whatever is in the box is revealed, and that's what you win. If you take a deal before this point, that amount is what you win.
Overall, it's a pretty simple game. If you want more information about it, you can read its Wikipedia article. With Wheel of Fortune on hiatus until Jazz_Duo returns (he's the current champion), I think it would be a good idea to play a new game that I think will be fun.

I have not seen or heard from Jazz in a long time. Last time I heard from him, he asked me to submit the forum banner details, which I already have long ago.
But anyways, I think I'll hold back on this for the meantime. I will be gone the next two weeks.

Re: Deal or No Deal (ZeldaFan996's second game - End)
All right, no problem. Maybe I'll just have 3 new people play my Wheel game, and have Jazz return as a co-champion in another game when he comes back. Anyone else want to play this? All I need is one player.

Re: Deal or No Deal (ZeldaFan996's second game - End)
Great! Since I need only one player, let's get started now.
22 boxes. A quarter of a million dollars. No questions, except one: Deal... or No Deal?
Hello, and welcome to Deal or No Deal. It's the great game of money, boxes, and banker offers that's popular in many countries all around the world. Today, one person will get a chance to play in our Dream Factory for a chance at winning $250,000. That player will be...
ZELDAFAN996
It's ZeldaFan996! Come up to our table and take the walk of wealth!
*He does so*
All right, ZeldaFan, we have 22 boxes containing 22 different amounts of money ranging from one penny to $250,000. Let's take a look at the board.

$25,000
$35,000
$50,000
$75,000
$100,000
$250,000
Note how the lower amounts are in blue and the higher amounts are in red. The blues are the amounts you want to eliminate, while the reds are the ones you want to avoid. You especially want to avoid eliminating the Power 5, which are the 5 highest amounts on the board. To start, I need you to choose a box (specifically, choose a number between 1 and 22). This box will be yours to keep throughout the game, unless you decide to sell it, which we'll get to in more detail later.

18, all right. That's your box, and now let's start eliminating the other boxes. For the first round, you'll be eliminating 5 boxes, which you can either choose one at a time or all at once.

We're starting with box 5. Let's hope there's a small amount in here...
$1,000
Well, that's not too bad. It's a red, but the smallest one. What's in 17?
$750
Good! A blue is what we want to see here. Next up is 21. What's in it?
$100
Wonderful! Number 6, let's see...
$100,000
Ouch!
Well, you still have the $250,000 in play, so it's not all bad news. Last up is 11.
$300
Beautiful! Let's take a look at the board now.

All right, ZeldaFan, you knocked off some small amounts, but you also knocked off the $100,000, so your first offer is...
$6,000
ZeldaFan, Deal or No Deal? If you say No Deal, it's 3 boxes from here on out.

Starting with box 2 this round. Let's open the box, please.

Not bad. You still have a lot of high values on the board. Box 12 is the last box for this round; what's in the box?

Okay ZeldaFan, the banker is starting to feel the pressure here. He doesn't like that you still have 4 of the Power 5 on the board after 3 rounds. Therefore, he's going to offer you this:
$23,000
Deal or No Deal, ZeldaFan?

Well ZeldaFan, even though you knocked out the $50,000, your offer has still increased by a fairly good amount. It's now...

Heh, the banker is being cute here. Deal or No Deal, ZeldaFan?

All right, then. You've won $28,996 in my first game of Deal or No Deal. We're going to play proveout now, meaning that we're going to see what would have happened if you had gone on. It's a Deal or No Deal tradition, after all. What 3 boxes would you have selected?
