Animal Crossing: New Leaf - First Impressions (Open Discussion)
Animal Crossing: New Leaf has recently released. And from many reviews, and personal experiences, it seems like a really fun game. In fact, I find it quite addicting. But anyways, in this thread, I want to hear your first impressions. Whether you do have the game or have only heard rumors and reviews, there is no doubt you have some kind of opinion about the game. So, if you want a place to share and discuss these opinions, this is the place.

I don't have it nor a 3DS so stop teasing me. It's making me sad.
Anyway, I've heard most GameStop stores are sold out of it so I'll take that as a good thing.

Same. A Wii U port of the game sounds like a fantastic idea to me.
It looks pretty good to me, and I'm glad they made a few changes to the formula, because honestly, not much really changed between the original one for the N64/Gamecube and City Folk for the Wii. I mean really, what noticable changes did they make at all? Wild World had ground rotation...hooray. City Folk had the city...great, you could do all of that stuff in the original game (although you had to wait for them to come to town). New Leaf looks like a good step forward in the Animal Crossing franchise.

Being my first Animal Crossing game, I really have no opinion regarding how it compares to its predicessors. However, from my experience, it is really fun and addicting. I specially like all the freedom it gives you, in terms of how your town will look.
But thats just my first day. I will amend this post when I have experienced more.
