First Sonic Lost World trailer

Here's the first trailer for the upcoming Sonic game Sonic Lost World.

I have mixed feelings about this. I loved the way Unleashed, Colors, and Generations were designed, and it looks like they just took all that they had previously established and threw it out the window.

Also, Super Mario Galaxy.

No. It's not Galaxy. It's Sonic X-Treme.

Yeah, that also bugs me. I'm one of the few people that are actually glad X-treme never saw the light of day, because, to be honest, it really looks very un-Sonic-like and not very fun. I'm hoping this will be an entirely different beast, however.

For me it's different. Sonic X-treme looked interesting for it's time. Right before that would have released Sonic 3D Blast would have been out, that was also very un-Sonic-like, so it really wouldn't have been out of place. Lost World seems to have revived that concept and it should be a breath of fresh air after the Boost era of Sonic games. This game marks the first Sonic game of Generation 8.
