Been playing Animal Crossing: City Folk but I'll download and try the other Wii U Demos. MH3U looks interesting.

Same here, Taidow. I tried the demo and it seems a bit, well, lacking in the graphics department. Game plays alright, but nothing spectacular from that I could see from my allotted twenty minutes.

I do recommend Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate when the game releases. Next to the Super Smash Series, the Monster Hunter series comes in as a very close rival. I will say though that the Monster Hunter series is for patient people. It involves a lot of grinding for materials to make weapons and armor. The main goal of this game is to hunt monsters and become a stronger hunter. It really shines when you have friends available as the multiplayer is fantastic. Again, I do suggest it when it releases.
This is a very good year for the 3DS and Nintendo in general. I've already bought Fire Emblem: Awakening and have about 100 hours into it. Can't wait for Nintendo's upcoming titles.

I too recommend Moster Hunter 3 Ultimate. And it seems Fox08 knows his Monster Hunter, this requires a lot of patience and even more persistance. Many people will look at this series as repetative, do to 'excessive' grinding.
In this game you earn everything from scratch, and there is a rather high learning curve to it so don't be discouraged if you die. All it takes is practice. You will quickly learn that all monsters have set patterns and elemental weaknesses, which lead to faster victories if you take advantage of these.
If your looking for your money's worth, look no further. Monster Hunter has got loads of content, I have spent nearly 2,000 hours on Monster Hunter Tri and still do not have every single armor and weapon. Now with Monster 3 Ultimate coming, it will have everything Tri had and more.
This game is definately not for everyone as its both difficult and time consuming. If you are easily frustrated, give up early, or don't have enough time on your hands this is not the game for you.

Well, I think the only reason I didn't have too much fun with it is that it was only a short demo, and I felt rushed trying to explore and beat the monster really quickly. Plus, in the demo, you couldn't obtain any more items, so that probably didn't help either.

Yes the demo was extremely limited and for some odd reason gave you a time limit of 20 minutes. Usually Monster Hunter feels anything but rushed, as the standard time limit has always been 50 minutes with few exceptions.
Also this game is most difficult in the early stages of play, it really doesn't help when your stuck with 'sucky' gear and are still learning the basics. Monster Hunter can be harsh to beginners and that's why many newcomers look away.
But if you can survive the early game and devote much needed time and effort, you'll be speed running these things later on with godly equipment.
The more you put into this game, the more you get out of it.

Spoken like a true Monster Hunter. I'm glad to see there are others who have come to appreciate the Monster Hunter Series. I will admit that near the release of Monster Hunter Tri, I was pretty skeptical about the game. Based on the trailers and gameplay that I had seen, it looked like Monster Hunter would bore me or just wasn't my type of game. Boy, was I WRONG. I will never judge something before trying it again. Monster Hunter has become one of my favorite series since I first started with Tri and I hope Capcom keeps the franchise going with an American release of Monster Hunter 4.

Thank you Fox08, I take my Monster Hunter very seriously, almost too serious xD
I actually started my monster hunting on the PSP with Freedom Unite. While Freedom Unite stands unrivaled in terms of pure content, I didn't have the same experience as I did with Tri. Mostly because of the online functionality in Tri.
