During today's financial report, one of the things Nintendo mentioned was that the Wii U has sold over 3 million consoles worldwide between launch and the end of 2012. Software sales, meanwhile, are at 11.69 million; with Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U both selling over 2 million copies alone.

Meh, sales should pick up once the new Mario game and the new Mario Kart game are released. Which is looking like it'll be about a year from now or so.
