One of the things Melee is known for is having a lot of glitches. That includes this one, a glitch where you can freeze characters with the Ice Climbers. Not just for a few seconds like hitting them with a Freezie, but freezing them so that they won't budge at all. Watch the video to see what the glitch is like.

Haha, it's cool 'cuz your opponent can't move anymore, but it's terrible 'cuz you also can't KO them!

If you do manage to pull off this glitch, rack up damage, then grab them again. Then, when you throw them, they'll be back to normal. However, it's pretty hard to pull of this glitch, especially in realistic battling situations.
