Wii U Launch Titles

Post by DarkMarth on Fri Sep 21, 2012 1:02 am

It's Friday! So that means it is time for a new poll. Last week, we asked you guys what you thought about the Wii U's price. And the majority of voters said that it was just right. This week, we will switch gears from pricing to game availability. I would like to ask what you guys think about the Wii U's launch tilts. Do you think the Wii U's launch titles are satisfying or dissatisfying? . In other words, do you think te Wii U's launch titles are good enough to keep you playing or will the Wii U suffer the same fate as the 3DS did, at its early days?

I personally think Nintendo has learned from their mistakes and are trying their best to populate the Wii U's game library as soon as possible. Games like ZombieU and Nintendo Land are sure to bring smiles to many faces.

New Super Mario Bros. U, ZombiU and Pikmin 3 were launched titles, right?
If that's so, the Wii U has some great launch titles.

Plus some great third-party titles, Assassin's Creed III and Arkham City, though released earlier than the Wii U on other consoles, will be instrumental in its success. I've wished Nintendo would diversify the library of its games to become more mainstream for a long time, and they've finally gotten smart. I think the titles already revealed are set to make this a far larger launch than anyone can predict.

There are a bunch of great titles, except I feel that it's missing that "must have" title. But, knowing Nintendo, there will quite likely be more "must have" titles later on, and the current launch titles will more than likely keep most gamers busy until then.

I think they're okay, although I agree with ZeldaFan that it's missing a major title that would attract more people to it. However, I am looking forward to New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land, and I'll be sure to get a Wii U when I can.

I think its fine. I wasn't planning on buying a launch title due to the money issue, so I'm happy Pikmin 3 is a launch window game for my own selfish reasons.
